Hello from Jemimah!

I’m so excited to say a HUGE HELLO to the Romance Academy family! My name is Jemimah, and today marks the start of a new adventure for me, as I began my new role as RA Project Manager. And what a day it was! I drank far too much coffee, ate way too much cake - there were quite a few Youthscape birthdays over the weekend - but most importantly, have heard so many incredible things about the wonderful people (you guys!) who make the project what it is today. I’ve had had a lot of love for Romance Academy since day one, and have enjoyed watching the project grow, change and develop over the years. I feel very honoured to be handed the reigns and am looking forward to all the excitement and opportunity that’s in store! I’m looking forward to getting to know you all soon, but I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself…

I'm Jemimah, a born-and-raised Londoner, and a lover of curry, puddings and sunny holidays. But more importantly, I am a youth worker. I’ve been doing youth work for the past six years, and before joining Youthscape I was heading up a London based charity working in the areas of self-esteem and preventative mental health with young women.

I would love to hear from you! Im excited to hearing your stories and experiences of working with Romance Academy, but am even more excited about the new ones we will make together.

See you soon!
